A Guild is a group of people that have a common purpose or goal and share the same approach to achieving it. The best way of making a Guild successful is by communicating - that's what the forum is for.

Communication works both ways: I need to give you information about the Guild, eg rules, planned events, Ventrilo information, announcements etc and you need a way to ask/answer questions of your Guild.

There is very little room in-game in the Message of the Day or the Guild Information window to tell you everything you should know. I have a duty as GM to help you achieve what you want out of WoW and your Guild, and to protect the under 18 year old players and make sure everyone is aware of how they should behave in-game and on Ventrilo.
